Kita helps plant the raised beds

The Leuschnerdamm daycare center visited the traffic school on September 8th to get to know the “Naturoase Traffic School” project. First, we showed the children the various stages of the project, such as the Benje hedge, the compost maker, the wildflower meadow, and the newly planted bushes. The children then helped plant pre-grown Mediterranean herbs in a raised bed and water them. We discussed with the children what benefits the flowers and leaves of Mediterranean herbs such as thyme, rosemary and sage have for insects and people.
